Belmar Mayor Mark Walsifer Starts New Tradition at 9th Ave Pier

Mayor Mark Walsifer rang the bell at sunset starting a new tradition of singing, “God Bless America” every night this summer at 9th Ave Pier.

Mayor Quote: “First time ringing the bell at 9th Ave Pier at sunset and honoring our great nation with “God Bless America!” 9th Ave Pier will be ringing the bell every sunset through the summer months. What a great tradition. Proud to see people standing, singing and applauding at the end.
